Application: 

I'm excited to incorporate the essence of "In the Black Fantastic" into my exploration of art compilations. Drawing inspiration from its themes of cultural liberation and social justice, I aim to curate a collection that showcases black women who use their life experiences to challenge societal norms and advocate for change.

I will aim to address issues like racism, inequality, and social injustice. My goal is to include a diverse range of mediums, from innovative digital art pieces encapsulated in light boxes within an immersive installation, creating a compilation that is dynamic and engaging.

As I create the artwork for my project, I'll prioritise pieces that evoke strong emotions and spark meaningful conversations, as the exhibit does. I want viewers to reflect deeply on the messages conveyed by the art and consider their own perspectives on topics such as identity, representation, and empowerment.
