PROJECT IN PRESENTATION
MAIN CONCEPT
The core concept for the final exhibition was to create an immersive experience, featuring a blacked-out space illuminated by vibrant lights. Initially, I intended to project all my pieces onto the walls, but I've decided to present them as light boxes instead, with corresponding diary entries listed underneath on shelves.

Visitors will have the freedom to peruse the displayed diaries, securely fastened with wire.

At the heart of the exhibition, a flat-screen TV will showcase a documentary-styled interview. Its visual aesthetic will echo the ambiance of the space, characterised by darkness punctuated with colorful spotlights.

Beneath the shelves, sticker captions will provide brief insights into the art pieces, enriching the viewer's understanding of the exhibition.
MOCKUP 1

At first, my plan was to install 8 floating shelves along a black wall to house the diaries. However, I soon realised that the length of the wall space would be excessive. Therefore, I chose to utilise a u-shaped room layout instead. To streamline the setup and minimise hassle, I replaced the 8 separate shelves with 2 long shelves. Additionally, I decided to position the captions beneath the shelves to conserve wall space. See diagrams below for reference.
MOCKUP 2

For the final exhibition, I'll showcase 10 light boxes. They'll be arranged in two sections: one lightbox on top of the other, with a portrait positioned above and a landscape below. The remaining light boxes, all A2 portraits, will be evenly spaced along the wall in a blackout space, with 5 on each side.To illuminate each diary, coloured spotlights will descend from above. At the center of the display, there will be a flat-screen TV screening a documentary. Visitors can enjoy it with headphone attachments for an immersive experience. As previously mentioned, sticker captions will be placed below the shelves.
